Who we are

This website, kfginternational.com, is published by KFG International LLC, a company registered in the United States. KFG International LLC is the controller of the personal data described in this notice. You can reach us about anything in it at sales@kfginternational.com.

What this notice covers

It covers two groups of people: visitors to this website, and people whose public hackathon projects appear in our 8K fresh AI business ideas archive. If you are in the second group you may never have visited this site, so the section on the archive is written for you.

The hackathon archive

The archive is a set of pages, one per project, covering the projects submitted to a public hackathon. Each page shows the project name, its one-line tagline, the names of the team members as the team listed them, the public project thumbnail, the like and comment counts at the time of capture, and a link to the original project page on Devpost. All of this was taken from the public project gallery on Devpost in August 2026. We did not collect anything from behind a login and we did not contact anyone to obtain it.

Each page also carries an analysis of the project: an executive summary and a business model canvas. That analysis is generated by a language model from the project's own public description. It is an opinion about the project as a business idea. It is not an assessment of any person, and nothing in it should be read as a statement about the abilities, character or circumstances of the people named on the page.

We do not publish contact details, and we do not combine the archive data with any other source, look people up elsewhere, build profiles, or use the data to make decisions about anyone. The archive is an independent publication. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Devpost or OpenAI.

Lawful basis

Where the GDPR or a similar law applies, we rely on our legitimate interests under Article 6(1)(f): the interest in reporting on and organising publicly presented projects, with attribution to their authors and a link back to the source. We think this interest outweighs the impact on the people named because the archive shows only information the authors chose to publish on a public gallery, it contains no sensitive data, every page links prominently to the original source, and anyone named can object by sending a single email, which we act on quickly.

Your rights

You have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected, to have it erased, to object to our processing of it (Article 21 GDPR), and to ask us to restrict processing while a request is being handled. To exercise any of these, email sales@kfginternational.com and include the URL of the page you are writing about. Every archive page has a "Request removal or a correction" link that opens an email with the project name already filled in.

A request from a project author to remove or correct their page is acted on within seven days, and in any case within one month. When a page is removed, it is removed from every language version of the site and from the sitemaps. We do not ask you to explain why. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the data protection authority in the country where you live.

The contact form and reCAPTCHA

If you use the contact form, we receive the fields you enter. Submissions are sent to our sales inbox as an email through Amazon Web Services (AWS). We keep them for as long as we need them to answer you and then delete them from the inbox at our discretion.

The form is protected by Google reCAPTCHA Enterprise, which loads only once you start filling in the form. To tell people from bots, Google processes your IP address and information about your browser and interaction with the page. How Google handles that data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.

Hosting, logs and cookies

The site is served by AWS (Amplify Hosting, delivered through CloudFront). AWS may keep standard access logs, containing your IP address, user agent and the URL requested, for security and operational purposes.

• We set one cookie of our own, kfg_lang. It records the language you pick in the language switcher, lasts a year, and is written only when you make that choice or arrive with a language in the address. It is read for one purpose: to open the site in the language you chose.
• If your browser asks for a language we publish, the site sends you to that version once and sets a flag in your browser's session storage so it does not do it again. The flag is dropped when you close the tab.
• Neither is used to identify you, and neither is shared with anyone.
• There is no analytics, advertising or tracking script on any page.
• The only third-party script is Google reCAPTCHA, and it is loaded only after you interact with the contact form. Google may set its own cookies when it loads.

Changes to this notice

We will update this page when our practices change and will change the date at the top when we do. The version published here is the current one.
